Dr. Zoghbi has been a director of the company since 2016. Since 1994, she has been a professor in the Departments of Pediatrics, Molecular and Human Genetics, and Neurology and Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Zoghbi is the director of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital, and is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator. She has been awarded numerous recognitions for her work, including the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences, the Gairdner Award, the Brain Prize, and the Kavli Prize in Neuroscience . Dr. Zoghbi is a member of the National Academy of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Inventors.
